Summary of the November 10, 2007 Health Fair:

Fair was held this past Saturday in our church hall. Four hundred flu shots were administered, health screenings were performed and valuable information was given by health related professionals and other vendors. The "Give Aways " were great.

Our Health Fair was a cooperative effort among the parishes in our cluster which include St. Margaret Mary, St. Joseph and St. james.

Our "Thank You" goes out to Fr. John, Fr. Mike and Fr. Dan, our nurses, the participating health care professionals, the vendors, the food providers of Moon Township, the volunteers from our 3 parishes including the Helping Hands Ministry from St. Margaret Mary Parish, and the twelve 8th graders in the Confirmation Class ... you were great!

It was nice to see many from St. James Parish attend this years' Health Fair since it was their first year of involvement.

A very special thank you to Barbara Stopperich and Joe Martonik who devoted countless hours and days in preparation for the Health Fair. Barb and Joe make it happen every year. Thanks and know that you are much appreciated.

The next Health Fair will be in November, 2008.
